It improves audio precision in sound systems. Variable impedance leads to force variations. This requires more forces on audio precision.

Normally, the amplifier internally controls the loudspeaker drivers with its damping factor so magnetic slide controls do this too in real time and this increases the overall damping factor.

Even our volume and gain controls don't affect the input impedance or the amplifier's damping factor and the sound remains absolutely stable.

All of our speakers play down to 40Hz ±1dB and down to 20Hz -6dB. With the small speakers we used specially made low response bass drivers.

At least 10 years of service life can be expected.
